A Celebration of the Birthday of King George III

MARLPIT HALL built in 1756 was the home of a prominent Loyalist family during the Revolutionary War. This is the setting for The Practitioners of Musick program to honour the Birthday of George III Rex. Music by Handel, J.C. Bach [the composer of a set of variations on “God Save The King”], Thomas Augustine Arne and John Stanley who served as “Master of the King’s Musick”. The Program is Free – No Reservations are required.
